Not complainin or anythin but would there be any way in shovvin the lan forward a week... School's mid-term would run straight after the LAN then, but if it's not suitable for SyxPak or Asok that's fine!! I'll still be there!!

It'll more than likely be in the Anno Santo. RTS - if someone wants to run an RTS compo, please email the galwaylan address at oceanfree dot net or gmail dot com and we'll work something out. I'd like to see a bit more RTS, but the games usually take far, far longer than FPS compos.

An RTS would be nice to see. I'm not the greatest at them and I must admit they take alot of time away from other games for me. On the day there will be a webby up and running, u can ask for a game competition on the day, if enough sign up then I guess there is nothing stopping it being played. I don't know about a pre-sign up thingi.... btr on the day.

warcraft3 is a very good RTS which can be finished very quickly, ranging between 10-20 minutes. which is shorter than a counter strike match. Frozen throne v1.17 is the latest and i'd be glad to play it at the Lan!!

Will mention that to crusader. He will be a happy man. Total annihilation would be a good one. it will run off a game boy.

Total war would be perfectly suited to a lan there is no building or resources just pure battlefield tactics where you have to think fast and be decisive you could have 6v6 compos in either Shogun tw or Rome tw don't know too much about medievil tw.

medieval total war, dawn of war are also good but dawn of war takes way too long when i play my friend takes over an hour for a game sometimes whereas warcraft solos wouldnt go over 20-25 mins usually.its a great game but resourse gathering would be much too confusing for some1 who has never played so maybe it would be short.Never played total war multiplayer so dont know about time but i think its kinda boring, the battles in it, as in the campaign you do what,10000 of them and they are all the same.Oh and what is total annihilation?
