- but desert combat, q3, cs, call of duty, enemy territory and a myriad of rts games seem to be popular
requirements:

  • your box and everything needed to game
  • transport - the venue is a bit outside the city
  • 10/100mbit network card
  • a 10m+ length of cat5 network cable if you prefer, i will supply you with a cable if needed
  • 4-way gang adapter/power strip and whatever extension cables you can lay your hands on.
  • headphones (no speakers!).
  • money for food, drink, accomodation etc.
  • your >>signed waiver<< - no admission without one
  • melee weapon of choice (eg: batleth, frying pan, hypnotoad, sleeping tmoney etc.)
  • drivers/games/apps discs, os + cdkeys just in case you need to reformat on the day.
  • anti-virus software fully updated. i recommend avg free edition from grisoft.comno lan access without some. i will make avg free edition installer and updates available on the ftp server.
  • bring sleeping-bags/floormats if you haven't got the stamina

the alien versus predator lasted 15minutes before that came in and closed up 30 minutes early though because of miscommunication. and what the hell is CA?

The avp lasted alot more than 15 mins before the security guard came... CA is clan arena, a quakeworld mod that in which you have teams of 4 on dm3, each player starts with all weapons and full armour, last person standing's team wins the round first to 5 rounds wins. I know you've played it this is just for people who don't know.....the big game was at gl8, not sure if you were there or not (the one with Giblet and Vinnit at it).

i was at GL7 onwards, was probablt gone for food or something. ok, maybe it lasted 25minutes, and there was about 8 people playing it at most. btw malachi is playing CS :source now :o

There were 4 teams of 5, so that's 20 people......most people seemed to enjoy it too as the teams were very balanced. Melachi's the number one in ireland at halo too afaik

mm the waiver is now printer warm mmm what does it mean no acts of violence? oh physical force employed etc but admin have the right to decide what is considered a violent act...don't get on their bad side....
