50 pcs all of which are p4 1.6 gig, 256megs of ram.
28 of the pcs are equiped with an 'ub3r l33t' geforce4 64 meg card! and we are waiting on more to come in b4 the lan date!
the cafe has a great layout and has a great atmosphere!
there is sweets (for the young at heart), drinks, tea and coffee served at the counter.
i hope to run a cs tourney with the aid of a few well known members of the irish cs community.
quake, tfc infact all type of gamers are more than welcome!

so far, this lan has ran twice very sucessfully. with many a good review and lots of photos galore, its usually a great lan to go to. the up and coming lan, galwaylan3 is going to be no exception, so take a look.

well summer is almost upon us... but for most exams are too... college, junior cert and leaving cert. i wish them all the best. and if you think you will become better than us ... never we are so far ahead you will never catch up so quit school and start selling your body as a sex slave and when and i mean when you get some weird std sell your body to science, get them to stick your head on a roller skate and you can use your tongue to get around

ok next lan down here in ul... we're looking at the may weekend
prelim stuff again . should have room for 30 or so people. i'm hunting down places to rent extra tables and chairs in limerick.
it's a byopc event . bank holiday weekend. also trying to arrange with security 24hr access so won't have to leave at 11pm like the last few times. i relise it's close to exams jc lc and some colleges as well which is why want to see the interested in it.
it should be good. although we won't be having a huge mega crowd we should still have plenty to have some good games.
i'm personally looking forward to starcraft 2 v 2's
hardware will be all switchs have 16 10/100 and should have about 2/3 24 port switchs as well and have some hubs (just in case) cable will be crimped well in advance this time ( have 20 to do my self) and some more should be brought along from others and we may be able to have the joy of a projector system
there is a car park right across from it.
