| ennis lan i, saturday night 26th of july from 8pm to 10am. taking place in a new cafe,
100mbit network on a 1 meg eircom dsl line.
iv capped the list at 20 as it will make it better for everyone as it wont be cramped..
you can bring your own pc, or use one of the in-house pc's (~500mhz -> ~800mhz) but i'd suggest ye bring your own hdd and graphics card (mouse and keyboard if your picky). 17" monitors are supplied.
the cafe is 5 mins walk from the bus/train station and 2 minutes from the town centre.

games played at the lan will include q1, q3, cs, dod, ut, bf1942, dc, sof2, ss2 and whatever else ye want. we'll try organise a few competitions in the more popular games.

note: add €7 for the bus (which will be leaving an hour before the event near
o'connel bridge)the gun (of course) with 480 paintballs. protective face mask
and padded camouflage overalls.
breakfast will be served on arrival and a pasta meal during the day. sorry but people can't
bring alcohol on the day. if they suspect anything they won't let you play. but is
boarders + beer + weapons ever a good idea?

there will be a number of games during the day. you can read about them on the site. we
will have the run of the place to ourselves and teams can be picked on the day so no-one

if your getting the bus make sure i know
about it! i'm marking the bus attendance on the list as pc rentals (site doesn't have a
transport list). so you'll see a little screen beside your name.the bus leaves from
eden quay near the abbey theatre (the peacock) at 9am sharp. so make sure
your up early!!

we will be going to the whitehorse pub for
the afters (just beside the bus drop-off) at around 5pm or 6pm. so anyone over the age of
18 is welcome to come along. bring id! |

info: all lanners are welcome to attend, there will be a 5 euro optional donation to cover the expenses.
drinking: is permitted in moderation.
smoking: this is a no-smoking event, we have a balcony area for you guys.
food: 2 chippers, 2 chinese and 1 newsagent and 24hr petrol station two minutes walk away.
comp: there will be at least one competition for a laugh on the day with a cold cathode up for grabs.
games: vietcong, delta force:blackhawk down, battlefield 1942 : desert combat, day of defeat, c&c generals etc.
network: ftp shares only, disable dhcp/ics servers when coming to the lan. set your ip to auto assign.
bring: powerstrip, computer, spare network cables, yourself, drink, food, preferably a tft monitor, dvds, cds, games
