| okay, here it is, dundalk lan 6.
it'll be a 14 hour lan from 10am - 12pm on saturday 6th of november in the fairways hotel.
we have 40 places available for the event so get in quick!!
the cost is just €10 per person and of course it is a byoc event.
we will have 1 x 10/100mb 24 port switch & 2 x 10/100mb 16 port switches. we also have a wireless acces point capable of supporting 32 users. add to that our own dchp server so no more static ip's  .

requirements:
- your box and everything needed to game
- transport - the venue is a bit outside the city
- 10/100mbit network card
- a 10m+ length of cat5 network cable if you prefer, i will supply you with a cable if needed
- 4-way gang adapter/power strip and whatever extension cables you can lay your hands on.
- headphones (no speakers!).
- money for food, drink, accomodation etc.
- your >>signed waiver<< - no admission without one
- melee weapon of choice (eg: batleth, frying pan, hypnotoad, sleeping tmoney etc.)
- drivers/games/apps discs, os + cdkeys just in case you need to reformat on the day.
- anti-virus software fully updated. i recommend avg free edition from grisoft.comno lan access without some. i will make avg free edition installer and updates available on the ftp server.
- bring sleeping-bags/floormats if you haven't got the stamina

basically story is sniipe just rang me and asked me to post this up here, his mate is opening a netcafé and needs people to test it out...or something, it'll be from like 3 pm till 11 pm, basically, if you're available then just show up and it'll be on.

halloween weekend - 36 hours
this lan is halloween weekend ie oct 29/30/31. starting friday night at 10pm and finishing sunday morning 10am.
more information will be available on the darkside website once we get the final changes made. we will be implementing a sign up facility, seating plan and paypal payment facility, which will all integrate seamlessly with our intranet package
